TODDLERS

The more risks you allow your children to make, the better they learn to look after themselves. ~ Roald Dahl

Our toddler program cares for children close to 2 years through 3 years old.  During this stage, children make great developmental strides and our caregivers and teachers are on hand to help with toileting, good table manners, sharing, and development in fine and large motor skills.  The day will be more structured with designated time frames for outdoor activity, snack/eating, napping, read-aloud story, and art enrichment.

Children will gradually start getting introduced to concepts such as shapes, colors, the weather, the calendar, and numbers, and letters.  Once they grasp the sounds and symbols of each letter, they become ready to start forming words and reading.  In addition, teachers will lead lively discussions through concrete experiences such as read-aloud stories and daily activities in singing, dancing, art, music, and playground fun.
